Bug Description

I've only just noticed the absence of this utility, which comes standard with most flavours of Ubuntu I can think of...

Thanks,

Disks from the menu also know as gnome-disks is a more reliable way to
write usb sticks.

For more info webupd8 covered this

Hi fossfreedom,

That's good to know. It's not intuitively apparent, though, and I imagine I won't be the only one who doesn't know this / would conclude that Budgie doesn't come with a startup disk creator because nothing appears in the menu under that kind of name, especially users coming from other Ubuntu desktop environments (I imagine there'll be many such folks).

One way to make this more apparent and self-evident for the end-user would be that when someone types anything resembling "USB writer", "startup disk creator", "bootable USB writer", etc into the search tool at the top of the menu, for the "Disks" program to appear in the search results.

Also, it could be helpful to include a link / mention to this in the "budgie-welcome" program. I'm sure there are other ways to make this more obvious also.

Cheers,
Ken.
