weird xscreensaver issue

The xscreensaver issue on system startup...

I think the xscreensaver should be removed at all for now, apt-get remove xscreensaver, then the issue will simply dissapear.

The issue that it starts on startup and shows that it has an old version, very annoying.

I'm not sure why xscreensaver is installed as it's not part of the xubuntu task. Maybe some package dependency?
