Bug Description

Impact
------
This is a new bugfix release in the stable 3.24 series. It adds a new feature to allow app launchers in the Applications menu to be dragged and dropped on to the Desktop. (This was a GNOME 2 feature and these extensions are meant to emulate GNOME 2).

Test Case
---------
1. Install the update to Ubuntu GNOME 17.04. Log out then log back in.
Open Tweak Tool. Switch to the Extensions tab and turn on the Applications and Places menu extensions.
Switch to the Desktop tab and turn on Icons on Desktop.
Open the Applications menu. Drag an app launcher to the desktop.

2. Launch a few apps from the Applications menu.

3. Open the Places menu and make sure that the icons to the left of the buttons still show up fine.

4. Log out and log in to GNOME Classic to make sure that it seems to still work ok.

Regression Potential
--------------------
The only extensions that should have changed here are the Applications and Places menus, so as long as they still works, this update should not introduce any problems.
