Bug Description

Impact
-------
The Books app does not show up in any desktop except for GNOME. But there are not a lot of epub readers on Linux and this restriction does not make sense.

Test Case
---------
From Ubuntu (Unity), install gnome-documents (which contains the Books app).

Look in the Dash for the Books app and launch it.

Regression Potential
--------------------
If gnome-documents is installed, Books will show up in any desktop even KDE Plasma which already has an epub reader.

Other Info
----------
Ubuntu 16.04 LTS is not affected because the Books app is completely hidden there because it did not yet have .epub support and .djvu support was broken so it wasn't a very useful ebook app.

Original Bug Report
-------------------
I installed GNOME Books in Ubuntu Software to read an EPUB for school and wasted a bunch of time looking for it in the Dash. I finally went into the Terminal and typed "gnome-books &". It got the job done for reading the EPUB (wasn't an amazing experience, but I didn't need one - I needed the information contained in the EPUB).

Please don't list it in the Software Center if it won't show up in the Dash. And if you do list it, show it in the Dash. It's confusing and wastes time, and the average user won't know how to open it in the Terminal or modify the .desktop to show it in the Dash (what I ended up doing).

The culprit was OnlyShowIn=GNOME in the .desktop file. I was using Unity

Thank you ^^

------------

Ubuntu version: Ubuntu 17.04
Package version: 3.24.0-0ubuntu1
What I expected to happen: open in the dash like any other app
What happened instead: had to open in terminal and mess around with .desktop files
