Bug Description

Binary package hint: grub2

grub2 invokes os-prober, but it seems debuggign is activated by default; from my log:

I'm still seeing these messages in my up-to-date Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS installation.

Bionic and later are fix released.

Xenial & Trusty are still affected, as far as I believe based on debian bug report fixed versions metadata.
