Bug Description

Canonical,

We would like to have the following patch as part of 14.04. Is it possible to have it before 14.04.02?

Hi Brad,

In fact this is not a bug, so, it doesn't make sense to have apport log colletion. This is a request to see if it is still feasible to have cannonical backporting the EEH code to 14.04.

Thank you,
Breno

Yes, for utopic and 14.04.02 we are good. Is it possible to include these backports in a kernel before 14.04.02?

we would appreciate if we can get this integrated into 14.04 kernel before 14.04.02. This is a bug that would help us running 14.04 in PowerNV mode.

This bug is awaiting verification that the kernel in -proposed solves the problem. Please test the kernel and update this bug with the results. If the problem is solved, change the tag 'verification-needed-trusty' to 'verification-done-trusty'.

If verification is not done by 5 working days from today, this fix will be dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed.

See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Thank you!
