Bug Description

This feature got overlooked for inclusion into the distro a few weeks ago. It adds video details for remote Amazon videos to the video preview in the video lens. It was ready to be included in the distro in time without an FFe, but somehow got overlooked. Without this feature being included, the Amazon video result previews are incomplete.

It has been tested by several people and verified to work well with no obvious bugs or regressions to the distribution.

Thanks, I knew I forgot something in the FFe.

This is also a UIFe, as it changes the UI when a user right clicks on a video in the video lens. The relevant commit for this change is: lp~unity-lens-videos/unity-lens-videos/remote-videos/revision/57

Correction, this did not land before FF. It was finished, but wasn't in trunk in time due to a delay in being code reviewed.

Please let the docs team know that this will change the UI and include email link here.
Also, please set the priority of this feature.

What are the plans for reverting if this causes issues?

The docs team was informed yesterday. https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-doc/2012-September/016860.html (also translators mailed since it has a couple of new strings)

It's two small commits in a small component than can be reverted at will.

I have unfortunately no rights to set importance, but I'd say Medium.

Timo, can this be pushed to Quantal by Thursday night? If so +1 from the Docs Team.

Approved.

After an IRC conversation I discovered that this feature is only available to US users (detected by geoip).

Can you get this uploaded today, please?

On the grounds that it's an important feature to enhance user
experience, that it adds just a few strings, and that if it's blocked it
should rather be by the release team than by translators, then +1.

Cheers,
