Hi! I also have the same problem and I have noticed that I configured the parameter NEED_IDMAPD with the word "YES" (uppercase).

So, when I changed to "yes" (lowercase), the idmapd service worked.

WRONG:
NEED_IDMAPD="YES"

CORRECT:
NEED_IDMAPD="yes"
