casper in initrd dies trying to find filesystem.squashfs on raid device

Bug Description
We've made our own LiveCDs and also used the Ubuntu 12.04 ISO to USB trick with unetbootin and they both fail to find the filesystem.squashfs when there is an existing raid array on the system. The end result is that it dumps you to initramfs.
I've attached the casper.log file for the broken (default) initrd.
