Hmm, the old quirk table in the intel X driver appears to be long gone, so the trivial fix for this is no longer possible.

So, rather than quirk it on the X side, I think what we need to do is add a quirk to the kernel for this hardware.

We do have a bug open on this issue under work - #855124, and have a proposed kernel patch there, so duping this to that.
