Bug Description
I first asked in #ubuntu+1 on freenode, and they suggested I try a Unity 2D and pointed me towards bugs 808685 and 810971, but my screenshot doesn't look like the one in those bug reports. The cursor always appears on top of the black portions of the screen, as do the menu bars, but when I move applications to the black area, they go behind the black part. The problem doesn't occur in Unity 2D, and when I boot to the machine with the second monitor plugged in, everything works fine.
I running the oneric Alpha 2 on a Lenovo T420 with an i5 2520 and HD3000 graphics.
