Comment 67 for bug 855124

Allegedly the patches have now hit the drm-next kernel, Ubuntu builds of which are here:

  http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/drm-next/

It would be helpful if someone able to repro this problem could install that kernel and verify that the issue is gone there.
