Bug Description
On a ThinkPad P16s running Noble, resuming from suspend fails about 10% of the time. This usually leads to a reboot, and more rarely to a hang that requires forcing a power off.
I don't recall this being the case with kernel 6.5 in Mantic.
How to reproduce:
* suspend the laptop (systemctl suspend, via the Gnome GUI, closing the lid, method doesn't matter)
* resume
* repeat about 10 times
A quick look at kernel logs doesn't show any kernel panic so perhaps the issue happens too early in the resume process for dmesg to be updated.
This happens on both (at least) 6.8.0-31 and 6.8.0-28.

On several Lenovo 50s suspend freezes with kernel 6.8, difference is: not sometimes but evertime. kernel.org says, Vendor kernels aren't really supported there. See full bug report there: https:/ /bugzilla. kernel. org/show_ bug.cgi? id=219253
