Bug Description

Binary package hint: meld

Meld enters an infinite loop trying to compare the files below.

TESTCASE:
extract the attached file.
open them with
> meld file1 file1

regression potential:
low, small easily backported fix.
released in 1.5.2 in use by me since the commit (31 may). Encountered no regressions.
