Bug Description
Right now Unity Applications Place lacks i18n support, which effectively means it is not translatable.
In order to comply with the main inclusion process (https:/
This means adding gettext support, marking visible strings for translation and exposing them in Launchpad.
For more information see the internationaliz
https:/
It would be very useful to have this in place by the User Interface Freeze on the 26th of August, so that translators can then start doing their work according to the release schedule.
Thanks!

Mikkel,
Looking at the diff, I've noticed that on the following string:
ResultsColumn. DISPLAY_ NAME, _(@"There are no $section_name installed on this computer"), /* TRANSLATORS: section_name is plural */
I believe that the "TRANSLATORS" comment should be above the ResultsColumn. DISPLAY_ NAME [...] line to be put into the .pot template and thus be visible to translators.
Also, would it be possible to leave out the @ in the translatable string? This might confuse translators, who might get the translation wrong. Can the @ be put outside the _() marks?
Thanks!
