I just discovered that it's not CD working/DVD not working, for me it actually depends on whether the disc is re-writeable or not. Based on the disc types I had available....

Mount ok: CD-R, DVD-R, DVD+R

Will not mount: CD-RW, DVD+RW

Anyone else seeing same distinction?
