The sfc driver was backported from 2.6.33, and as such requires that stable updates from 2.6.33.y be applied. There are currently 3 patches available from 2.6.33.4 stable:
680e3fe449b3a78a95871bbc02398b2bb1a40174 sfc: Change falcon_probe_board() to fail for unsupported boards
068e5818f0d028cc0469ae7ae33368fd71024886 sfc: Always close net device at the end of a disabling reset
fa8472cab002dbbb70bf2b1c975b56f75e5d88c6 sfc: Wait at most 10ms for the MC to finish reading out MAC statistics |
SRU justification:
Impact: The sfc driver was backported from 2.6.33, and as such requires that stable updates from 2.6.33.y be applied. We pick upstream stable patches from 2.6.32.y for the main kernel as part of the kernel SRU policy. But as this specific driver is a backport, updates need to come from a different tree.
Fix: There are currently 3 patches available from 2.6.33.4 stable:
