Bug Description

indicator-datetime fails to build from source in Kinetic with the default compiler, gcc/g++-12

To allow the package to build so that we can complete the evolution-data-server 3.45 transition, I switched the package to build with gcc/g++-11.

I suggest switching to the Ayatana Indicators (ayatana-indicator-datetime) which are maintained and are able to build successfully with the default compiler. See https://launchpad.net/bugs/1983374

It is released now, but we are looking into fixing build with gcc 12. And we are also looking into if we can port to ayatana this cycle.
