Bug Description

This bug is about 9.10, libenchant1c2a 1.5.0-0ubuntu2

When I open kmail and click to respond to a message, Kontact crashes immediately. I looked in the trace, and found that it had something to do with the spell checker, and and found that sonnetrc had something to do with it.

I had defaultLanguage=nb and when I changed that to defaultLanguage=en, I could open the composer with no problems. If I manually change the dictionary to nb, it crashes in a similar manner.
I first reported this as a Kmail bug:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=212890
but the KDE developers suggest that it is an enchant bug instead. I have installed the debug package for enchant, and the stack trace is included.

As a KDE dev notes, we have a messy situation here, that we have two written languages nb and nn, and they are also both denoted no. I don't know if this is a cause of the problems.

The proposed patch seems to work for me.

I have built a package and put in my apt repo at

http://apt.kjernsmo.net/debian/karmic/

I have signed the .changes file with my key, but I guess the repo config is not complete, so it didn't authenticate for me.

Anyway, I hope this can be fixed in an update...
