Bug Description
In 9.04 if you "Add/Remove Applications" you find aMule-AdunanzA offered instead of aMule.
aMule is available only through Synaptic.
TEST CASE (for the verification):
1. open add/remove,
2. click on "show all available applications"
3. search for "amule"
4. verify that amule-adunanza is show
5. install the updated app-install-data package from jaunty-proposed
6. close add/remove, open it again
7. repeat step 3
8. veriy that now amule is shown
9. install amule and verify that its the real amule (no italian splash screen)
The aMule-AdunanzA mod has the following defects:
- Works only in a special Italian network. Does not connect for most users.
- No localization, startup splash screen is Italian only.
- Wrong and misleading output, like mentioning www.amule.org as place to look for support. The AdunanzA mod is NOT supported by aMule's dev team.
Therefore I suggest Ubuntu offers aMule instead of aMule-AdunanzA in the application manager.
Cheers,
Stu Redman (aMule developer)

Confirmed.
And: "You forgot that the application has only a italian page for downloads and support, making it retarded to offer it worldwide (but not more retarded than the fact it's ISP-specific)" said by Kry (another aMule developer)
