Anecdata: personally impacted by a bug in the tarfile API introduced in 3.10.12 fixed in 3.10.13 (gh-107845).

<https://docs.python.org/3.10/whatsnew/changelog.html> mentions a few more changes that might warrant an update to 3.10.(≥13).
