Bug Description

The latest kernel in hirsute is going to be 5.8.0.30.32+21.04.34. With this kernel installed the autopkgtest for casper is failing with the following error:

qemu: could not open kernel file '/boot/vmlinu*-5.8.0.30.32+21-04-generic': No such file or directory

The reason is that the "+21.04.34" sub-string in the kernel version isn't handled properly and it should be stripped off to determine the kernel file to use in /boot.

We should probably strip off everything after the "+" from the kernel version string, to properly support kernels that use this particular version format.
