Bug Description

Binary package hint: photoml

The pmlexpand utility in version 0.25 is completely broken on Hardy, incorrectly giving an unrecognized document type error when processing valid photoml xml files. For example, in the upackaged source, do

   cd xml
   pmlexpand photoml02.xml

and observe the "pmlexpand: input document type not recognised" error message. This problem has been corrected in the 0.26 upstream release, which is now in Intrepid as version 0.26-0ubuntu1 (see bug #237810).

Since this is a minor package, and the bug significantly reduces usability in Hardy, releasing a bugfix package seems advisable.

Diffstat reveals huge changes in configure, though. Are they really required?

The changes in configure are due to a more recent version of autoconf being used to generate it. The actual changes in configure.ac are quite minor.
