Please note that jack was running and there wasn't any other idjc instances running.
idjc works fine on x86, I have this problem only on amd64 systems. Looks an upstream issue to me.

upgrading to idjc-0.7.5-4 from debian repository solved the problem here

confirmed on ubuntu hardy heron 8.04 amd64 (see my duplicate bug)

No idea either, someone should definitely take a look at this :)

Hi,

can you try the karmic version, 0.7.14-2 or 0.7.14-2build1 and tell if this bug is still present? (I'm on amd64 and a quick test didn't reveal the problem, but I guess I didn't really get to the troubling part due to my sound setup being pretty screwed atm.).
