Bug Description

Open-invaders doesn't start. The window appears and disappears after a few seconds. If I start the program with console:

lindis@k3ub:~$ open-invaders
/usr/share
Allegro initialised...
Loading graphics...
Loading sound effects...
Loading in-game song...
Loading highscore file...
Shutting down Allegro due to signal #11
Segmentation fault
lindis@k3ub:~$

The version of ubuntu is Kubuntu 8.04.
The version of open-invaders and related open-invaders-data is 0.3-1.

This is fixed in Intrepid but not in Hardy. See http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=468081.

Argh, I read the bug report too fast :P.

Can you confirm if this is reproducible and, if it is, if it happens with the liballegro4.2 version from Intrepid.

Hardy has seen the end of its life and is no longer receiving any updates. Marking the Hardy task for this ticket as "Won't Fix".
