Packages of Ubuntu releases that are already rolled out usually don't get version upgrades (release date of 20.04 was on April 23rd).
Are you interested in particular fixes that come with this new release? And if so can you specify their commit IDs so that they might be cherry-picked instead?

There are quite a few changes. Can you upgrade instead ? This is IBM Power specific package and wont affect other architectures.

This was requested (after consulting) for 20.10 and 20.04 - I added now the nominations.

I'm confused, it appears both Focal and Groovy already have ppc64-diag 2.7.6

I don't think there's anything to do here unless I'm missing something.

That is pretty weird, it cam with LP 1615584 on Jan 16th 2020?

So no idea why that got requested again.

@Shivaprasad do you have an idea why this request was opened, since the requested package is in for quite some time?!

And btw. it's in for both, the F and G release:
 ppc64-diag | 2.7.6-1 | focal | source, ppc64el
 ppc64-diag | 2.7.6-1ubuntu1 | groovy | source, ppc64el

Looks like this was accidentally opened. If we have v2.7.6 then we are good. We can close this issue.
