Bug Description

Description: Plasma-specific protocols for Wayland

In KDE Plasma 5.19, this is a required dependency of the new source kwayland-server, which in turn Kwin cannot now be built without. In other word, this (and kwayland server) are not optional new sources if K/Ubuntu is EVER going to ship any newer Plasma desktop.

Upstream url: https://invent.kde.org/libraries/plasma-wayland-protocols

PPA build: https://launchpad.net/~kubuntu-ppa/+archive/ubuntu/staging-plasma/+sourcepub/11367549/+listing-archive-extra

The rest of the plasma 5.19 stack requiring this is also built and confirmed by testers to be working as intended.

Could you please affirm if the wayland code is the dependency of Plasma-desktop?
It would help a lot to recognise the package which is touched by this.

Without this (and kwayland-server which build depends on it), the very essential parts of the Plasma stack cannot be built.

kwin depends on kwayland-server (non optional at build and runtime).

The other components such as:

plasma-workspace (the actual shell etc)
plasma-desktop
powerdevil
systemsettings

Please see the dep tree plot.
