Bug Description

Microsoft would like to request inclusion of the following patch in the 5.4 and later kernels:

a81a38cc6dda ("scsi: storvsc: Parameterize number hardware queues")

https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/drivers/scsi/storvsc_drv.c?id=a81a38cc6ddaf128c7ca9e3fffff21c243f33c97

This patch adds the ability to set the number of hardware queues with new module parameter, storvsc_max_hw_queues.

This functionality is useful in Microsoft Azure) where decreasing the number of hardware queues has been shown to improve performance.

Installed Focal and Groovy in Azure Basic_A2 instances.

sudo modprobe hv_storvsc storvsc_max_hw_queues=128

This module doesn't do anything without an attached FC transport, but at least the module installed. I'll get MS to do some testing on the right instance type. Marking verified for now.
