Alright, so we are still testing the version we're working on but here are some test results...

The merge request can be found here:

with code reviews and comments in between the backport attempts.

since the regular bionic kernel has to have support backported.

I have tested for the MITIGATIONS in:

1) HOST (Bionic)

2) OLD QEMU GUEST (Bionic)

3) NEW QEMU (w/ backport) GUEST (Bionic)

And will show the results:
