Hey Mao, Is this visible after install?

In other words can you install 16.04 on the failing system, then add the 4.15 kernel and boot into it?

Once you do that, does the issue appear?

Just to summarize where we are:

16.04, 4.13: No problem
18.04, 4.15: Problem with frame buffer
16.04, 4.15: ???
