I will really appreciate any help like said in summary my touchscreen doesnt work on my dell lattitude 5491 with a I5-8400H cpu.

Any idea ?

Hi Pierre,

We have applied a potential fix for this issue, the following kernel 5.4.0-49 is currently in our proposed repo. I've included a link on how to enable the proposed repo.

If possible please update to this kernel and attempt without the additional boot parameter so we can hopefully mark this as resolved.

I think we can assume this to be verified for two reasons: first the reply in comment #6 (the later kernel change just implements this via quirks) and second this came back to all series via stable which receives additional upstream reviews.
