Bug Description
Hi,
Ubuntu 18.04 LTS still comes with rabbitmq 3.6.10. Backports does not have newer versions either.
However, 3.6 is deprecated and not supported anymore since May 1st, 2018. There's no security updates.
See
https:/
https:/
Since Ubuntu 19.04 has rabbitmq 3.7 packages, it would possibly be a good idea, to put them in the backports for 18.04.

Hi Hadmut,
in rare cases where security maintenance is unbearable without upgrading this is done by the security team. Otherwise as you suggested this would be a package for backports pocket, but that is mostly a community effort.
I think there is no objection to help on that backport, but it is unlikely that one will totally jump on it. I'll mark it wishlist to reflect that.
