Bug Description

My Dell Precision Laptop 5520 freezes seconds after displaying the login screen when using linux-image-4.13.0-32-generic (Includes 31, 30).

Selecting 4.13.0-17-generic allows for stable operation. I am still currently installing the main line series and will report if the issue is resolved once that is installed.

We can perform a "Reverse" bisect to identify the commit that fixes this bug in 4.15. We first need to identify the last kernel version that had the bug and the first that did not. Can you try the following two kernels:

v4.14-rc1: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.14-rc1/
v4.15-rc1:http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.15-rc1/
