I am sorry that nobody has responded to this bug sooner.
Ubuntu Natty (11.04) is no longer supported. I can see that in the next version of Ubuntu (12.04 LTS - Precise), python-lash is available.
I hope that you have upgraded to a more recent version of Ubuntu, and that the problem has gone away. Please update the bug if this is not the case.
