Bug Description
The zsh package was not updated in Artful, nor has it been updated in Bionic yet. As of now it is two major releases behind. Would it be possible to bump zsh in Bionic to 5.4.2, as currently available in Debian Buster (and Sid)?

The .deb from Sid installs and runs perfectly on Xenial, as far as i can tell, so i'm hopeful this is a pretty trivial thing to do.
Thanks!
PS: Not very familiar with this whole update process — sorry if i've erred in any way.

Thanks for taking your time to report this issue and help making Ubuntu better.
No problem, it's a perfectly fine bug report, and you've included the `upgrade- software- version` -tag :)
Normally newer package versions are synced automatically from Debian to Ubuntu. This hasn't happened for zsh since it contains some Ubuntu-specific changes (note the ubuntu-part in the version number "5.2-5ubuntu1").
In some cases, the changes have been included in the newer version either in Debian or upstream, then the package can be synced without losing any changes. In other cases, the additional changes are still needed and the package needs to be manually merged. When merging, someone basically takes the latest package version from Debian and reapply all the Ubuntu-specific changes.
I only briefly skimmed the Ubuntu-changes and the Debian changelog, but it looks like this will need a merge. Thus, I've added the `needs- debian- merge`- tag too.
