Bug Description

Hi,

Could you please do a binary removal of the following binary packages in the oracular release pocket?

lib32z1
lib32z1-dev
libc6-s390
libc6-dev-s390
oaklisp

We have removed the support for 32-bit binaries on s390x (see bug 2067350), and these leftovers are preventing glibc from migrating.

As for oaklisp sure. No rev-deps, removing.

$ remove-package -a s390x -b -m "Binary RM of 32-bit binaries on s390 (LP: #2074191)" oaklisp
Removing packages from oracular:
 oaklisp 1.3.7-4 in oracular s390x

For the zlib parts, I already mentioned to Simon but it seems to have some reverse-build-deps on gcc-* packages:

$ reverse-depends -b -a s390x lib32z1-dev
Reverse-Build-Depends
=====================
* gcc-11
* gcc-12
* gcc-13
* gcc-14
* gcc-snapshot

Also, we discussed that at some moment it would be good to have a zlib upload that removes the arch from the binaries.

updated zlib not to build the 32bit binaries, but it currently ftbfs

the gcc packages should be all done now, not building the s390x multilibs anymore.
