zenity color-selection returns invalid value

Bug Description

In 14.0.4 when I use the zenity color-selection dialog, the result is sort of doubled.
I expected #6699cc and got #66669999cccc instead.

3.8.0

[gtimlin@MJAABDY:~/work/bash]$ zenity --color-selection --show-palette --color=#6699cc
#66669999cccc
