Try removing zeitgesit DB direcotry and then reinstalling zeitgeist. I don't think the old DB may be made usable again. If error persists after that please change bug status to confirmed.
Commands:
sudo -s
mv ~/.local/share/zeitgeist ~/.local/share/zeitgeist_oldDB
sudo apt-get install zeitgeist zeitgeist-core zeitgeist-datahub --reinstall
zeitgeist --replace&

I followed your instructions and did get the crash error again.

Sorry about my earlier comment. It was mis-typed. I followed the instructions given by lcpak and rebooted. Now, I no longer get this error.
