Rationale: zeitgeist-extensions is part of zeitgeist, which is a service logging user activity. This one is used through libzeitgeist linked in places in unity (which will be the default UNE interface in maverick).
Security: no security issue known right now.
Quality assurance: canonical dx team has one zeitgeist core developer, and so he is strongly committed to that package.

Background information: for now zg-extension was a distro patch against previous zg. Now that zg can discover extensions, the code is in a separate package (zg-fts-extension) which is the only matured code (as discussed with kamstrump) for zg-extension as of today.
