Bug Description

Binary package hint: zabbix-agent

Using Ubuntu 8.04.4 LTS and zabbix-agent 1:1.4.2-4ubuntu.

The zabbix agent sometimes will die, probably due to logrotate (as no log file was found). A workaround that seems to work is to add the following to the /etc/logrotate.d/zabbix-agent:

    postrotate
        /etc/init.d/zabbix_agent restart
    endscript
