Bug Description
Current LTS version will fail for any link. Latest available in Debian is compatible with 14.04 libraries and runs without error.

Hi David, two question:
1) "will fail for any link" --> this is wrong, maybe you are referring to youtube, and youtube is only one over hundreds of supported websites.
2) please use the requestbackport tool for your issue :)
