I dont have menu only black kros

hallo,
sorry for my inglis i from dutch belgium antwerp, im new in ubuntu, i start mi pc only mi desk top on screen, dont have a menu on mi desk only a black kros that move with mi mouse, i start it tree times het stil the same, i have internet wen i klick on steam it start, but i dont have eni menu. ubuntu 11.04 . thanks for helping.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy.
