Bug Description

Binary package hint: yelp

When I search using Yelp, some queries take 60 seconds or even more to yield a response.

To me, this kind of search performance suggests that a very naive search system is being used, and perhaps a move to a more sophisticated search engine is required, such as for example xapian-omega.

My test was a search for the word "swig". I got 14 hits but it tool well over a minute to do that, which is long enough for most people to think that it's hung/crashed/broken.
