need to be updated using rosetta translations

Binary package hint: yelp

I have an Spanish desktop, but as you can see in my screenshot, Yelp main screen shows untranslated, i.e. there are many English strings which must be in Spanish. However, all these strings are translated in Launchpad more than a year ago.

For example, the "Ubuntu Help Center" string appears in English, but it's translated into Spanish since 2007-03-04, as you can see here:

the package needs to be updated using the rosetta translations, that will be done before intrepid, no need to open a bug every cycle about this issue

Sorry, I believed the package was updated automatically using the latests Launchpad translations.

the translations need to be downloaded and added to the source because they are used during the build

So is this issue listed on some process page so it does indeed get done for each release? It's soon intrepid RC. I think it should be listed as an item that has to be done before RC, not after. Release Candidate should not have such a bad impression like this.

A new package, with updated translations is waiting for sponsoring (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/yelp/+bug/286876).

As soon as it is done, you'll get the rosetta translations.
