At least the man pages in the "system calls" section (2) are not displayed in the man pages index and cannot be found with a search.

Hello and thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Could you please check whether the system calls manpages are installed on your system ?
It seems to me they are not by default. Section 2 manpages can be installed with the "manpages-dev" package.
You can check this by typing "man 2 syscalls" in a terminal console. If no manpage is found, section 2 is likely not to be installed on your system.
I'm marking this bug as invalid for now, feel free to reopen it if you find out section 2 is actually installed on your system.
