I believe I am using Ubuntu Hardy Alpha 5, I originally started with ALpha 4 and have been updating it whenever new updates become available.
Source Package is Nautilus.
I am trying to access my files on other computers using the Network option ( Places -> Network ). I can acess this machine (Ubuntu Hardy ALpha ) from other computers running Ubuntu 7.10 without a problem.
When I try to see my network I get the error dialog saying: Couldn't display "network:///". Nautilus cannot handle network locations.

This is a known issue documented in bug: 185756 The Network location is being worked on, in the meantime you can still access windows shares with smb://servername
