Yelp stays frozen after clicking on a external link

I am reading gnome-schedule user guide. This document has a external link to a Wikipedia article.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Click on the external link. Automatically Mozilla Firefox opens the external link correctly
2. Go to yelp and click on any internal link (link to a other section of the document). The click does not work.

I can confirm this for 7.10 with as default browser Opera.

Even worse in Ubuntu 8.04:

Steps to reproduce:
0. Be sure that Firefox is closed before proceeding to the next step
1. Click on any external link in the documentation. Automatically Firefox 3 opens the external link correctly.
2. Switch back to the Yelp window: it is frozen (blank window with no refresh), until you close Firefox. Then it works again.

The output of the ps command looks like that while yelp is frozen:
