Bug Description
By default, gedit has "Highlight current line" option enabled. While that works great for Yaru and Adwaita, this is barely usable with Yaru-dark, because both background and foreground are just different shades of white.
While this is a minor issue and can be easily fixed by adjusting gedit's color scheme, that might give not the best impression for a first-time Ubuntu user.
