Does http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=123894 and http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124129 happen with the old 2.7.3 too? While I tend to trust your opinion as the upstream developer and would like to see you happy with the shiniest and best of your code in Ubuntu, a crasher could be fixed by less than 30000 lines of changes, right? In the future it might make more sense to get the releases in more regularly.
