Bug Description

I really love xxxterm, and it's kind of the browser I've always looked for! I'm very excited by the project, and want to support it.

However, the package ships with the following icon files that seem peculiar to me:

 /usr/share/xxxterm/xxxtermicon16.png
 /usr/share/xxxterm/xxxtermicon32.png
 /usr/share/xxxterm/xxxtermicon48.png
 /usr/share/xxxterm/xxxtermicon64.png
 /usr/share/xxxterm/xxxtermicon128.png

If you view these images (the 128 version is easiest to make out) you seem to get an image from the movie poster for Fight Club. I'm uncertain as to what right Ubuntu or Debian have to distribute these images.

In any event, it would be good to have these images replaced with the actual logo for xxxterm.

I am told that xxxterm has been re-branded "xombrero" upstream. Perhaps this change came with proper icons?

at the bottom of the git tree is where it lives upstream and indeed it hasn't changed. https://opensource.conformal.com/viewgit/?a=tree&p=xombrero

i also checked their bugtracker and didn't see anything there.

i know debian is working on releasing xombrero. maybe this bug should be pushed up to them so they get it right the first time? http://mentors.debian.net/package/xombrero

talked to the nice folks at in the IRC channel (https://opensource.conformal.com/wiki/IRC_server) and it turns out that they're working on a new icon after all.

also, it turns out the current icon is a joke. it refers to them "fighting the man" i.e. everything that makes the web insecure. ;)
